            Once upon a time , there was a famous king named Bondowoso. He felt in love with a beautiful princess named Roro jongrang.
            Roro jonggrang didn't love Bandung Bondowoso. To make things difficult, Roro Jongrang asked him to build 1,000 temples in one night. Bandung Bondowoso agreed with the requirement. He asked the help of genies and spirits. At four o'clock in the morning, Bandung Bondowoso had only a few temples to build. Roro Jonggrang was very afraid that he would complete the task.
            Suddenly, Roro Jonggrang had an idea. She called all th women and asked them to pound rice. She also asked them to burn anything at the side of kingdom to create that morning had come. Seeing this, the genies and the spirits ran away with only more temple to complete. Bandung Bondowoso was very angry. He then  cursed Roro Jonggrang became a statue to fill the last temple.
